Biltong vs Jerky
Biltong is a centuries-old process of air drying meat which is then thinly sliced, yielding a tender texture similar to prosciutto. YUM! When compared to jerky, biltong smashes the competition with almost twice the protein, virtually no sugar and minimal carbs or fat. It’s also completely natural with no preservatives or nitrates like you will find in traditional jerky.
As one of the youngest brands to win the award—up against long-time brands like Campbell Soup Co., Kellogg Co., General Mills, and more—we’re quite excited about the future growth of our brand.
