Find that perfect spot to catch your breath, take in the view, and fuel up with mouthwatering sliced beef biltong.

Here are five spectacular hikes for a great adventure:

Angel’s Landing - Zion National Park, Utah

An eye-popping hike in Zion’s main red rock canyon, this 2.4-mile trail ends at the top of Angel’s Landing, an impressive 1,488-foot rock formation with one of the most stunning 360-degree views in the West.

Teton Crest Trail - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Those seeking the adventure of a multi-day backpacking trip should try the signature hike of Grand Teton National Park. Weave your way along the Teton Range along the central spine, joining high divides and passes and offering glimpses of alpine lakes and the iconic craggy summits.

Lower Yosemite Falls - Yosemite National Park, California

See the tallest waterfall in North America with 2,400 feet of water gushing down from high above. Gorgeous in the spring and early summer when the waterfall peaks in volume, this trail offers different vantage points of Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Creek.

Appalachian Trail - Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee

Multiple peaks, steep climbs, and open meadows highlight this week-long trip. The Appalachian Trail travels 72 miles through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park along the Tennesee-North Carolina border.

Big Bend National Park, Texas

Located in southwest Texas and includes the entire Chisos mountain range and a large swath of Chihiahian Desert is one of the best places to go hiking in the entire state of Texas. It’s a hiker’s paradise with over 150 miles of trails, the boundless beauty of this West Texas masterpiece.
