Protein up with this Biltong Salad Recipe!

Summer is all about eating light and fresh, but who wants the same old boring salad? We’re kicking it up a notch with this delicious low carb, high protein salad. Air dried beef meets greens in this creation from @avocadopesto.
When you consider biltong is high protein and has zero sugar, and is Keto and Paleo-friendly, you will want this salad on repeat. Perfect for family dinners or summer BBQs.
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 1 avocado
- 1/3 C chopped Spicy Peri Peri biltong
- Chop the lettuce and slice all the veggies, add to a bowl.
- Top with your favorite flavor of biltong (we recommend Spicy Peri Peri).
- Add dressing of your choice and enjoy!
At 16 grams of protein per serving this makes for a great snack or addition to a charcuterie board, salad topping, soup topping, etc. It's healthier than traditional beef jerky, is air dried and never baked in sugary marinades.
